Preparing For A Neurofeedback Training Session

Planning and preparing for your neurofeedback session can improve progress toward treatment goals.

• Get plenty of rest the night before.

• Turn off your mobile phone and other electronic devices.

• Avoid alcohol and marijuana consumption for 24 hours prior to session.

• Avoid or decrease caffeine intake the day of sessions.

 

• Wash your hair so that it is clean and dry, and avoid using any hair gels or sprays.

• Arrive five minutes early to use the restroom prior to your session.
